How Fast GST Refund works

Fast GST Refund is designed to import source records, map export invoices to BRC/FIRC evidence, reconcile purchases and GST records, surface exceptions, prepare a traceable Rule 89(4) working, and generate validated Statement 3 and Annexure B outputs.

The design principle is automation with review boundaries: deterministic preparation should be automated, while missing evidence, conflicting records and tax judgements remain visible to the exporter or CA. A sandboxed workspace capable of operating spreadsheets and official offline utilities is one architecture being explored; it is not a feature available today.

Availability note: early access is not open yet. The current flow shows the preparation path relevant to your claim and provides useful guidance in the meantime; it does not inspect files or run the automation.

What MyGSTRefund publicly offers

MyGSTRefund’s public pages claim automated eligibility, calculation, filing, tracking, reconciliation and Statement 3 generation. Its service page also describes experts reviewing details and preparing documents. Taken together, the public material points to a hybrid software-and-service model rather than proving a fully unattended workflow.

Before granting access, ask for:

  • a redacted demonstration of a service-export claim;
  • the exact fee and definition of a successful outcome;
  • the split between software, specialist work and customer responsibility;
  • treatment of partial sanction, deficiency memos and post-filing work;
  • data access, retention and deletion terms; and
  • a copy of the calculation, workings and filing evidence.

Use the MyGSTRefund review for the fuller diligence list.
