Generate Statement 3 and Annexure B JSON without Excel
A GST export refund application needs two JSON files, and the portal's offline utilities that make them run only in Windows Excel with macros. Enter the same details here on any computer, check them with the utilities' own rules, and download files in the same format.
- Any device. Mac, Linux, Windows or a phone. Nothing to install.
- All problems at once. Every row is checked as you type, with the fix next to it.
- Free to check. ₹499 + GST once per GSTIN and refund period to download both files and any corrections.
Sandbox: payments on this copy of the site are tests. No money is charged.
Prepared by your assistant, downloaded by you
Connect an AI assistant to the Fast GST Refund MCP server and ask it to prepare both files from your invoices, FIRCs and purchase register. It checks the entries, then gives you a link that opens them on this page. You review, sign in and download. The assistant never sees a password or handles your payment.
What the checks cover
An entry is marked as an error when the official utility would refuse to create the file: a missing mandatory field, a date after the To period, a duplicate document, tax amounts that do not add up. Notes in amber are extra checks that never block the download.
The checks cannot tell whether an invoice is in your returns or whether credit is eligible. The GST portal compares the uploaded file with your filed returns, and the refund officer decides the claim.
To see the format before you start, open the files that the example produces: Statement 3 and Annexure B. They are fictional and not for upload.
Questions
Not answered here? Write to support@fastgstrefund.com.
Is the file the same as the one the GST offline utility makes?
Yes. The fields, their order, the serial numbers and the way amounts are written follow the two official workbooks: Statement 3 utility version 4.0 and Annexure B utility version 1.0. We compared the output with files made by the official utilities for the same entries, and they matched byte for byte. The GST portal then checks your entries against your filed returns, exactly as it does for a file from the utility.
What does it cost?
Entering, importing and checking your records is free and needs no account. Downloading costs ₹499 plus GST once for a GSTIN and refund period. That covers both files and every corrected file for the same GSTIN and period. There is no subscription.
What happens to my records?
What you type stays in this browser's storage until you download. When you download, the records for that file are sent to our server and the file is created. An encrypted copy is kept for 24 hours so that a connected assistant can fetch it; on this page, select Download again whenever you need the file. We keep your email address, the GSTIN and period of each claim you pay for, and the payment status. We do not ask for your GST login.
Can my assistant or accountant prepare the entries?
Yes. An AI assistant connected to the Fast GST Refund MCP server can prepare and check the entries, then give you a link that opens them on this page. An accountant can send you a JSON file to import. You review the entries, then download.
What if the GST portal reports an error after upload?
Open the error file the portal gives you and correct the entries here. For Statement 3, the portal's instructions say to upload only the documents that had errors, so keep only those rows before you download. For Annexure B, upload the whole statement again under a new file name, because the portal accepts a file name only once. Corrections for the same GSTIN and period are included. If the portal rejects a file because of its format rather than your entries, write to support@fastgstrefund.com with the portal's message. We will correct the problem, and you can ask for a refund.
Which refund applications is this for?
Both files are for RFD-01 applications of the type “Exports of Goods/Services - without Payment of Tax (accumulated ITC) (Excluding Electricity)”. Statement 3 is used only there. The GST portal asks for Annexure B, made with the same utility, in other refunds of accumulated ITC as well, such as supplies to an SEZ unit or developer without payment of tax and an inverted tax structure, so you can create that Annexure B file here too. Their other statements are not covered.
